Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and raised in Seattle, Washington, Fresno-Visalia, California, and Phoenix, Arizona, he has spent a lifetime building businesses from the ground up. Over his career, Don has owned and operated six companies: Nannies, Housekeeper and More, a domestic help placement agency; Mykonoes, a fine dining restaurant in Phoenix; Full Service Housekeeping and At Your FingerTips Inc, both in Phoenix; Advanced Innovative Results, Inc, in Columbus, Ohio; and Coopers Consulting, a marketing and digital marketing company. In 1995, he moved to Ohio to help his family with their business, a Midas Muffler Shop, after his father was diagnosed with cognitive MS. In 2000, he joined the State of Ohio, serving in the Department of Administrative Services, Telecom, Office of Information Technology, until his retirement from state government. Now 59 and based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Don helps small businesses keep their books in order and find the funding they need to grow.
